Crafting a Sustainable Future
 Through Ethical Practices.
At Brij Designs, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to ethical production, responsible sourcing, and reducing environmental impact. By integrating circular design principles, transparency, and innovation, we create garments that reflect our values of quality, responsibility, and long-term environmental stewardship.
Our Principles
   Giving Back as We Grow
We believe progress should never come at the planet’s expense. Through community partnerships and initiatives like tree plantation drives, we embed environmental and social responsibility into every layer of our business.
   Measurable Climate Action
We’re committed to reducing our carbon footprint by 30% by 2030, aligned with India’s Net Zero 2070 vision. With tools like the OnlyGood Carbon Intelligence Platform, we track emissions across Scope 1, 2, and 3, and implement real solutions like solar lighting and E-rickshaw transport to lower our impact.
   Ethical & Sustainable Sourcing
Our fabrics are responsibly sourced, from organic cotton to recycled fibers. These choices support water conservation, pesticide-free farming, and biodiversity, all while reducing environmental harm at the source.
   Waste Responsibility
We design with intention and end-of-life in mind. Fabric scraps are repurposed locally, hazardous waste is managed through certified partners, and we follow a strict “reduce, reuse, recycle” approach to limit our environmental footprint.
															OnlyGood Partnership
Through our partnership with OnlyGood, we integrate advanced sustainability solutions into our operations, reinforcing our commitment to ethical fashion and measurable environmental impact.
Progress in Numbers
We’re turning our sustainability goals into measurable progress. By tracking our emissions, water use, waste reduction, and energy efficiency, we ensure that our actions are transparent and impactful. Here’s a look at the numbers behind our journey toward a greener, more responsible future.
Water Management
Our water-efficient manufacturing processes incorporate closed-loop systems and sustainable dyeing techniques, significantly reducing water consumption and waste.
Waste Management
We implement a zero-waste approach by repurposing fabric scraps, recycling production waste, and ensuring responsible disposal methods for a cleaner, greener supply chain.
| Waste Category | Volume | Action Taken |
|---|---|---|
| Clothing Waste | 8.91 tonnes | Repurposed or resold to local recyclers |
| Paper/Board | 5.21 tonnes | Sent for recycling |
| Plastic | 0.07 tonnes | Recycled through waste vendors |
| Batteries | 0.03 tonnes | Managed by certified hazardous waste partner |
| Metal Scrap | 0.05 tonnes | Sold to authorized recyclers |
All hazardous waste is handled under official agreements with Bharat Oil & Waste Management Ltd., approved by the state government. We’re also investing in design strategies to reduce textile waste before it’s even created.
